Windsheim, 2 Sept 1924

Dear Uncle,

As the airship Zeppelin will be taking off for America in the next few days, I don’t want to miss this opportunity dear Uncle to send you my greetings.

I’m sure you have received our last letter by now, and I hope that you can read it.

All is well with us here, and we hope the same for you.

Regarding the money you sent me, I will keep it until I receive the ticket from the passenger ship company. Dear Uncle, please do not forget to write and let me know the name of the ship company you have contracted with, so that I can communicate with them regarding receipt of the ticket. I expect to receive entry permits the same time I receive the ticket.

Hoping that you will write soon, I send my regards.

Your thankful nephew,

Hans Weinhardt
