Dear sister and brother-in-law

I have the sad duty to inform you, that it was God's will to take our dear mother after long illness from this world into His.

She died in the morning of 1. February. I would have written already [?] sooner [/?] but we do not know for sure whether the letters are coming to you or not. I have written to you last year, two or three around Pentecost and I have not received an answer
