Salt Point Septbr 11. 1872
Lieber Freund John
Nacht langer Stille bringn
wier auch gewöhlich wieder
Winde. Ich kan Euch jetz be-
nachrichtend daß wier jetz
auf Salt Point sind es ist
vier meilen von den
andern Platz. wier sind
so weit alle Gesund und
Munter und hoffen es
auch von Euch alle. wen
der Harry Truhn nach der
Stadt war sagte mir
er hate mit Dier über grüne
bonen gesprochen und
daß Du uns welche besor-
gen woltes, so daß die
Zeit an leuft wollte Ich
doch mahl fragen ob wier
kriegen oder nicht.

wen sie nicht zu theuer
sind so wünschen wier
daß wier [insertion:] Sk [/insertion] woll hätten daß wirst
Du aber selbst besser sehen
können wie Ich. wen sie
sollten so billich sein wie
sie da mahls waren wie
Du uns welche geschick
hast, so schicke uns man
200. lbs or so den wier Essen
sie alle gerne und möchte
Dier wohl fragen was
daß beste Mehl wehrt ist
daß heiß Golden Gate.
wie müßen spätter nach
was haben und wen Du es
mir besorgen willst so will
Ich Dier schreiben wie viehl
und eine Box Matches lose
möchte Ich gerne haben so bald
wie mochlich. Ich schicke Dier
daß Geld mit die Erste gelagenheit
hinunter. ferner habe Ich noch

frage ob Du daß Geld
bekommen hast was
Ich Dier geschick habe. was
an meine Loge bezahlt
werde müße Ich danke
es wird war alles recht
sein da Ich aber doch kei-
ne anwort von Dier bekom-
men habe und auch nicht
von die Loge so wollte
Ich doch mahl fragen.
so will Ich schließen und
hofe bald eine anwort
in Achtungsvoll
